Avatar PDMS is a hosted sofware as a service (SaaS). It is built on industry standard technologies and allows for patches, upgrades and minor customizations to the product without compromising performance or effecting other users.

The diagram below describes serveral of the key components of Avatar PDMS. At the heart of the learning platform is a core technology that is highly configurable and manageable without having to modify the code, making patches, upgrades and small customizations as seamless as possible to the end-user.

In addition to building the application on top of a flexible framework, we have designed gateways for easy data integration and information services. Avatar PDMS has built-in technology that enables SAP, Peoplesoft, iMIS, and other backend HR Systems integration. It also has native support for LDAP, Active Directory, and e-Directory from Novell, making single sign-on easy and simple.
